The Japanese Society of Baby Science adopts a comprehensive approach to the study of infants, employing a wide range of perspectives drawn from medicine, brain science, developmental psychology, engineering, psychology, and public policy. The Society was inaugurated in 2001 as a central forum for interdisciplinary research on children to reflect the knowledge and results gained in these diverse fields.
