Children are Our Future: The Human Science of Mother and Child

Disturbance of Mother-and-Child Relationship - 2

Mother's Love Adjusts Her Child's Biorhythm

Some children not blessed with mother's love, as mentioned before, are low in stature. This is mainly due to mental stress and disturbance of biorhythm, the pattern of internal secretion (hormones secretion) in particular, which is important for children's growth. Growth hormones are especially significant for physical growth.

The concentration of growth hormones is not always kept at the same level in the blood; the hormones are released as a pulse1 from pituitary gland into the flowing blood in a few hours after getting to sleep. In other words, growth hormones are secreted into the flowing blood led by the biorhythm, to control one's growth and development.

When adults are mentally stressed and their sleep is disturbed, they suffer from diarrhea, peptic ulcer, and so forth. Likewise children not blessed with mother's love, as was mentioned earlier, have difficulties and naturally their biorhythm is disrupted.

Mother-and-child relationship does not always work out nicely. In some cases the relationship does not go well at all and children suffer from these pediatric illnesses. There are various kinds of relationship such as immunological one between the fetus and its mother, or the most human relationship between the mother and her baby or infant. However, these difficulties in interpersonal relationships are somewhat managed thanks to the efforts of mothers or support by others.

1: Pulse
The instant ups and downs of the concentration just like the rhythmical throbbing of the blood vessels.
