Time Spent Watching TV is Increasing

Among junior high school students, the number of those who watch TV for over three and a half hours a day is on the great increase, up from 17.5% in 1990, to 30.9% in 2001.

Time Spent Watching TV (Junior High School Students)
When asked about the time spent watching TV, the number of junior high school students who answered "over three and a half hours" is on the increase at 30% in 2001. Similar children with no marked changes are 30% at elementary school students, and 10% at senior high school students.
