I took pictures of rice balls. A rice ball is a popular Japanese food, which is made by taking rice with hands, and it is easy to make. You can choose your own favorite ingredients and put it into rice ball. I'll show you the standard fillings.

Umeboshi
Umeboshi is Japanese apricot and it won't go off easily. It is good for health and savory.

Broiled Cod Roe
It is the egg of cod and also used for spaghetti topping.

Kombu
Kombu is one of kelp and this is arranged for the filling so it tastes sweet.

Tuna Mayonnaise
It is a filling which combined tuna and mayonnaise. This is popular for children.

I like rice ball and when I have a soccer match, I'll bring these. There are many fillings which I didn't introduce this time, for example tempura or salmon and so on. Rice ball is evolving from the past and still eaten by modern Japanese. It is a simple meal and we are able to buy it anywhere. I want people around the world to know about rice ball.
