"Manga" means comic book in Japanese, and as with novels there are many genres, like love romance, suspense, and horror. Manga are read by people of all ages, especially teenagers. Reading manga is a hobby for some people. In Japan, there are Internet Cafés where you can read manga and go on the Internet. The cost is about 300 yen for 30 minutes of time. They sell food there and give you free drinks. In the newest Internet Café, you can even take a shower and stay overnight! Manga plays an important part in Japanese teenage culture.
