Summer Vacation

Many high school students join a club, which is mostly a school sport, activity, or organization. Here, at Mukaijima Tennis Court, Tennis Club members participate in a tournament.

Summer is the season to enjoy the coolness of the pool. Families, couples, friends, and even babies fill the scene at Hirakata Park.

Summer vacation is the only chance for high school student to visit the beach! It is impossible to end summer without seeing the gorgeous beach of Shirahama.

Teenaged girls love to spend their time at karaoke, where they can sing, drink, and have a blasting time in their individual booths.

Purikura has become necessary to teenage girls. It is very easy to make these picture stickers. First you get into a photo booth and take several pictures. Next you move to the editing booth and decorate your picture anyway you want to. The machine will finish up the printing in a flash!

Hanabi is a small type of fire work; so small that people can handle them by themselves. It is essential to begin the summer and also to end the season. The glow it gives out is stunningly beautiful.

Japanese culture may be weird in some ways, but I think it is very unique. There are many interesting ways of enjoying our teenage life. School, club, and friends, I believe, take up most of our time, and we are always looking for the "fun" that is hid within. Summer vacation is when we have the most freedom during our school year. Shopping, talking, partying, swimming, traveling, and so many other choices are out there to make our summer unforgettable.
