DOKIDOKI is a Japanese word. It means to have a racing pulse. I feel DOKIDOKI when I am tense, expectant, excited or afraid. For example, in Picture 1, I was anxious about my grades - if they were good or bad.  In Picture 2, I hoped to be given a lot of money. In Picture 3, I was excited about the games.  In Picuture 4, I was looking forward to going to the concert. These each have slightly different meanings. It is very interesting.
DOKIDOKI expresses the sound of a heart beating. The Japanese have a lot of words like this sound. For example, UKIUKI (means exhilarated), WAKUWAKU (means excited), RUNRUN (means to have fun).
