Daisuki

Place : Kyoto
Taken by : Y. H. (Doshisha International Junior/Senior High School)

They are my favorite CDs and books. I like them.

This is a window in my room. I like to spend in my room. When it gets dark, I can see a lot of stars and moon. They are very beautiful.

These are delicious candies. My sister and I often eat them together. I like the other sweets very much.

I have a lot of stuffed doll. They are my stuffed animal and I put them in my room. Especially I love DUMBO and Pooh.

I always nap on this sofa. It is very cozy.

I have a lot of favorite things. These pictures are special things of them. I like (love) them very much.
Daisuki is feeling like this. When I talk about my favorite things in Japanese, I use this word: Mettya suki. Mettyasuki means Sugokusuki in standard Japanese, but in Kansai we usually use Mettyasuki. Mettya is one of the dialects in Kansai. I like dialects in Kansai, because when I speak in dialect with my friends, I feel familiar with them. I like talking with my friends. And I like my friends.
Thus there are many favorite things for me. I like to like someone and something, too. My favorite things made me happy and refreshed. It is very important for my life. When I start to like something, I feel that thing is beautiful, pretty, lovely, and cute. It is easy to like something. So, I want you to find a lot of favorite things.
